Year 9 Experiences of Work -Insight Visit to Employer

We are currently organising a series of industry visits for our Year 9 students, designed to give them first-hand exposure to a variety of career sectors that reflect their interests and aspirations. These visits aim to inspire students, broaden their understanding of the world of work, and provide valuable insight into the diverse range of roles within each industry. We hope this experience will encourage them to begin exploring future career pathways and make informed decisions about their next steps.

We would be delighted if your organisation could host a group of approximately 30 Year 9 students. During the visit, it would be fantastic for students to meet professionals from across your organisation, gain insight into what a typical working day looks like, learn about the key skills and qualifications required, and discover the wide variety of roles that contribute to the success of your organisation.

In terms of timings, we anticipate leaving school at 9:30am, arriving at your premises between 10:30am and 11:00am, and departing at approximately 2:30pm to ensure students return to school before the end of the day. Therefore, this will be approx a 3-hour encounter with a 1-hour lunch break.
