West London Careers Hub is a programme which is co-funded by the Mayor of London and The Careers & Enterprise Company and is delivered by Education Development Trust. The Hub is a national initiative to promote industry engagement and develop careers education that meets the Gatsby Benchmarks and improves career programs within institutions.
West London Careers Hub is currently working with 174 secondary schools and colleges, including SEND and Alternative Provision institutions, with the goal of achieving their Gatsby Benchmarks to enhance educational outcomes for all young people in the 7 West London Boroughs.
We collaborate with local businesses and other organisations to provide young people with the necessary guidance, skills, and experiences to make informed career choices.
Our objective is to close the gap between young people and employers, providing educators and young people with insights to current industry skills gaps, improve social mobility, identify future talent and enhance access to opportunities for young people transitioning from education to employment.
Our program is delivered by our team of Enterprise Coordinators and Hub Leads who support schools and colleges in working with employers through the Enterprise Adviser Network and Cornerstone Employers.
