Employers & Volunteers

Engaging with young people by sharing your professional experiences and workplace environment allows them to interact with role models and explore potential career paths, all while future-proofing your business.

The Hub facilitates connections between schools, colleges, and employers through the Enterprise Adviser Network and Cornerstone Employers. We provide students with the latest sector-specific information and assist employers in identifying potential talent. This initiative serves as a bridge to career opportunities across England. In participating you will be required to complete an enhanced DBS application.

How we approach safeguarding – Guidance for Enterprise Advisers

Hear from Ava about her experience as an entrepreneur in the video below.

Why participate in the West London Careers Hub?

Your specialised industry knowledge and experience can vividly illustrate the world of work, influencing young people’s career choices and benefiting your organisation.

Benefits for your organisation include:

  • Assisting young people in acquiring essential work skills
  • Offering personal development opportunities for your staff
  • Identifying and nurturing potential future talent for your organisation
  • Fulfilling corporate social responsibility objectives
  • Bridges the gap between education and employment by using the ‘language of business’ to help employers adopt best practices in careers education outreach.
  • Contributing significantly to the development of the future local workforce

Apply here to join our Enterprise Adviser Network. Our Employer Engagement Enterprise Coordinator (EEEC) will then be in touch to discuss next steps.

SMEs and Micro Enterprise Toolkit

Take a look at the SMEs and Micro Enterprise Toolkit, created by Education and Employers who run Inspiring the Future. It has been designed to show SMEs and Micro Enterprises how volunteering with schools can make a positive impact.
