DESCRIPTION:Please add your details so we can record your support and track activity for this event. Click here to register \nIt is a planned morning event and we are looking forward to providing the year 11 students with a wide range of employers\, further education and higher education providers to inform\, educate and guide the students in giving them a wider understanding and aspirational outlook on their progression into post 16 further education\, employment and later on higher education and career options available to them. In addition to the year 11 students\, the careers fair will be open to the year 13 students who will be dropping in to the fair throughout the morning around their lessons to find out more and ask questions regarding their own post 18 plans. \n\nPlease find the details of the event below\, and I look forward to your RSVP. \n\n\n\n\nEvent \n\n\n\nGreenford High School – Year 11 – Careers Fair  with Yr. 13 students dropping in. \n\n\n\n\nLocation: \n\n\n\n\nGreenford High School\,  \nLady Margaret Road\nSouthall\nMiddlesex\nUB1 2GU \n\n\n\n\nPurpose \n\n\nTo enable students to liaise face to face with Career Professionals & Employers\, HE Student Ambassadors\, FE & HE Providers to: – \n\n\nImproving the student’s knowledge of career pathways\, further and higher training education options including the apprenticeship and professional training routes available.\nEmployability skills knowledge through face-to-face employer and career professional contact – information\, advice and education. Providing information & advice to increase career aspirations.\nGain valuable knowledge of the strengths & skills that employers look for in a young person starting off in the world of work.\nUnderstanding of the post 16 options available locally for vocational level 1\, 2 and 3 courses including foundation and inclusive learning\, BTEC\, C&G\, UAL and T Levels\n\n\n8:15 – 8:45 – Arrival & Set up in the Main Hall \n8:45 – 8:55 – Introductions Refreshments provided and throughout the morning\, Housekeeping & Safeguarding notice \n  \n8:55 – 9:45 – Session 1: Yr. 11 – 75 Students with specific needs – EHCP SEN / Pastoral accompanied Parents/Carers/Keyworkers \n  \n9:50 – 10:35 – Session 2 – Yr. 11 – 75 Students + Yr. 13 Students  – Drop in \n  \nBreak – 10:35 to 11:00am \n  \n11:00 – 11:50 – Session 3: Yr. 11 – 75 Students + Yr. 13 Students  – Drop in \n\n11:50 to 12:35 – Session 4: Yr. 11 – 75 Students + Yr. 13 Students  – Drop in \n  \n12:35 to 12:45  – Thank you\, Feedback and Packing Up \n\n\n\n\nDate: \n\n\n\nThursday 8th October 2026 \n\n\n\n\n\nTime: \n\n\nArrival – From – 08:00 – 8:30 with planned finish by 12:40pm. \n\n\n\n\n\nYear Group \n\n\nYear 11 & Yr. 13 – Drop \n\n\n\n\nNumber of students \n\n\n300 – Yr. 11 & Up to 150 Yr. 13 – could vary depending on students voluntary choice to attend. \n\n\n\n\nAccess to Parking \n\n\n\nNo visitor car parking spaces unfortunately (aside from disabled spaces) but street parking available on Kenilworth Gardens and Neal Avenue just off the Lady Margaret Road not far from the school. \n\n\n\n\n\nRefreshments \n\n\nOn arrival and Break Time. \n\n\n\n\nPublic Transport Links \n\n\n\nPostcode: UB1 2GU \nOur nearest stations are Greenford Station (Central Line)\, Northolt Station (Central Line) and Southall Station (National Rail). However\, if travelling by tube from London\, Ealing Broadway Station has better bus links – E7\, E9 and E10 stop outside the school. Plus E1\, E2 and E3 stop at Greenford Broadway which is a 15-minute walk from school. \n\nFrom Greenford Station \n\nTake bus E6 (from the bus stop directly opposite the station) and stop at Greenford Sports Centre. \n\nFrom Northolt Station \n\nTake bus 120 (from the bus stop directly opposite the station) towards Hounslow and stop at Kenilworth Gardens. You can also take bus 282 towards Ealing Hospital or bus E10. \n\nFrom Ruislip Station \n\nTake bus E7 towards Ealing. \n\nFrom Southall Station – National Rail and Elisabeth Line. \n\nTake bus 120 towards Northolt and stop at Kenilworth Gardens.
