Get Ready for Success: wellbeing and disability support at university

March 26 @ 9:30 am - 3:30 pm

An opportunity for learners at school, college or sixth form, to find out more about the support universities offer learners with additional needs.

During this day, you can expect:

  • To hear about disclosure – how sharing information about your disability can benefit you.
  • Interactive sessions – trialling the assistive technology available to you to make study more accessible.
  • A campus tour – demonstrating accessibility of the university.
  • An in-depth conversation with Student Ambassadors from Aimhigher London partner universities – a lived experience.
  • To find out more about the Disabled Students Allowance – how to apply and access additional support when at university.

You are welcome to come on your own or if you’d like, bring a parent, teacher or another friend! School groups are welcome too.

This conference is for learners with:

  • Long term physical and mental health conditions.
  • Physical and sensory disabilities.
  • Neurodivergence eg dyslexia, ADHD, autism.
